What we keep, and why

Last updated 11 October 2026

Rosel is a wedding planning platform for couples in Australia, at withrosel.com and app.withrosel.com, run by Malomack Group Pty Ltd (ABN 31 698 233 724). This page says what we collect, what we do with it and where it lives. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles. If anything here is unclear, write to us at rosel.event.group@gmail.com.

What we collect

Only what the planning needs.

  • Your account. Your email address and name, and a password if you set one. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, nothing else.
  • Your wedding. Everything you put into Rosel: dates, places, guests and their details, budgets, suppliers, notes, photos and documents. Your guests have not agreed to anything with us; you are responsible for what you enter about them.
  • The waitlist. An email address, if you leave one on the home page.
  • Reminders. If you turn on notifications, a browser subscription so we can send them.
  • How you use the app. Inside app.withrosel.com, the pages you open and what you click, and a recording of the screen with everything you type hidden, tied to your account.

We do not run advertising trackers. The home page and vendor directory carry no analytics; the only cookies there are the ones that keep you signed in.

What we do with it

We use it to run your wedding inside Rosel, to sign you in, to send the reminders you asked for and to write to the waitlist when the planning side opens. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with vendors or anyone else unless you choose to, for example by sharing a run sheet link.

We look at how Rosel is used, including watching sessions back, to find what is confusing or broken and fix it. That stays with us.

Where it lives

Rosel runs on a few services, each holding only what it needs:

  • Clerk signs you in and holds your account details, in the United States.
  • Supabase holds your wedding, its photos and documents, in Singapore. Only you and anyone you make a partner on the wedding can read it.
  • Vercel serves the site and the app.
  • Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Resend carries the notes you send us from inside Rosel, as email.
  • Sentry receives a report when something in Rosel breaks, with your user id and the page, so we can fix it. Hosted in the European Union.
  • PostHog records how the app is used, as above, with your user id and email. Hosted in the European Union.

Each of these is bound by its own agreement with us to protect your information. We keep daily backups for thirty days.

The vendor directory

The directory lists wedding businesses using information they have made public: their name, where they work, how to reach them and what they say about themselves. If you run one of these businesses and want your listing corrected or removed, write to rosel.event.group@gmail.com and we will do it.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. Delete your account and your wedding goes with it, from the live database at once and from backups within thirty days. Waitlist emails are kept until we have written to you or you ask us to remove yours.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to rosel.event.group@gmail.com and we will answer within thirty days. If you are not happy with how we have handled a complaint, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will say so inside Rosel before it takes effect. The date at the top is the last change.
